How do pre-countdown steps work?
Open a preset and add steps before the main stopwatch — each with a name and a duration. When you start a session, Stepwave counts you through the steps with voice and sound, then starts the real stopwatch automatically.
Why does the free version stop at 3 presets?
The free tier includes up to 3 presets. Stepwave Pro unlocks unlimited presets, full history and trends, Apple Watch and widgets, and removes ads.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the current period ends.
How do I restore a purchase?
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings while signed in to the same Apple Account you purchased with.
Voice stop or sound cues aren't working.
Check that the relevant cue is enabled in Settings, that your device isn't muted for sounds, and that Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are granted in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
Will my presets sync across devices?
If iCloud sync is enabled, presets and history sync through your private iCloud account across your devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
